Allison Plaza is the Latin teacher at Cathedral High School. She has a passion for the classics, and she believes that it is her vocation to share her genuine love of Latin poetry and prose with her students. Having received a degree in Philosophy and Classical Languages from the University of St. Thomas in 2014, she began teaching all levels of Latin straight away to both middle and high school aged students. Her classes are rigorous but also full of joy and humor. In addition to being a teacher, Mrs. Plaza is a Catholic convert, an Ordinariate member, a wife, and a mother of three little girls. She is thrilled to be one of the founding faculty members at CHS, and she is delighted to offer Latin to her students as a key that will unlock for them an immense treasure of wisdom.
