Mr. Jake Whalen

Mr. Whalen graduated with a BA from Thomas Aquinas College in 2008. He also holds a Master of Science in Science Education from the University of Montana and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Since 2011, he has taught at several noted Catholic, classical high schools, including St. Michael’s Prep and St. Monica Academy, both near Los Angeles, CA, and at Holy Spirit Academy near Minneapolis, MN. A versatile instructor, his past courses include multiple years of algebra I & II, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, AP physics, theology, and philosophy. He and his wonderful wife, Kateri, now live in Sugar Land, TX with their five children.
