Mrs. Ellen Tarango

Ellen Tarango is a native Houstonian and grew up in the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham community. She spent two years completing nursing prerequisite courses at Texas A&M University in College Station and considers herself an Aggie at heart. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2017. Throughout her nursing career, she has worked in different specialties from Heart Failure/Transplant at Memorial Hermann, to OR Circulating at ambulatory surgery centers across the Houston area, to the Home Health setting. Her favorite aspects of the nursing vocation are the opportunities to make those in her care feel safe, valued, and respected. She is excited to be serving the students at Cathedral High School as the School Nurse.  Ellen and her husband, Fabian, are members of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham.
